About Sana
Sana grew up an only child in Osaka, trained at EXPG from 2009 and was scouted by a JYP Entertainment employee in a shopping mall, joining the trainee programme in South Korea in April 2012. Two planned debuts fell through before Sixteen put her in Twice. She debuted in Japan again in 2023 with MiSaMo, hosted her own YouTube talk show, and is due to make her acting debut in the film Nyangi.

Was inspired to perform by Girls' Generation and trained at EXPG in Osaka from 2009.

Scouted at an Osaka shopping mall and invited to the JYP Japan audition the following day; she joined the trainee programme in April 2012.
