About Jihyo
Jihyo was scouted by SM Entertainment after finishing second in a child star contest and followed the scout who recruited her to JYP Entertainment, joining at the age of eight in 2005 and training for a decade. Born Park Ji-soo, she changed her legal name before Sixteen, and her bandmates voted her leader of Twice in an anonymous ballot. She released her debut EP Zone in August 2023 and has since worked steadily as a soundtrack and collaboration singer.
