About Bang Chan
Bang Chan spent seven years as a JYP Entertainment trainee after passing an Australian audition at thirteen, then chose the trainees who became Stray Kids. He co-founded the production unit 3Racha with Changbin and Han in 2016 and writes and produces most of the group's catalogue. Beyond Stray Kids he has composed for NiziU, JO1, Sky-Hi and Show Lo, and for film and anime soundtracks.

Grew up in Sydney, Australia, where he attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, trained in ballet and modern dance, sang in the school choir and competed as a swimmer.

Has played the piano since the age of five and is a classically trained pianist.

Passed JYP Entertainment's 2010 global audition in Australia at thirteen and moved to South Korea on his own to train, remaining a trainee for seven years.

Trained alongside future members of Twice, Got7 and Day6, and appeared as an extra in Miss A's “Only You” and Twice's debut “Like Ooh-Ahh”.
