About Yuqi
Song Yuqi was born in Beijing and passed Cube Entertainment's audition there in 2015, moving to South Korea the following year. Since debuting in 2018 she has co-written a growing share of I-dle's B-sides, from “Lost” to “Love Is Pain”, and supplied the Chinese lyrics for “Dumdi Dumdi” and “Hwaa”. She has been a cast member of the Chinese variety show Keep Running since 2019 and has released the single album A Page, the EP Yuq1 and the single album Motivation on her own.

Born on 23 September 1999 in Beijing, where she attended Beijing 101 Middle School.

Auditioned at the Cube Star World Audition in Beijing in 2015, performing CLC's “High Heels” and G.E.M.'s “Bubble”.

Moved to South Korea in 2016 and reached level 5 of 6 in the TOPIK Korean proficiency test in 2020.
