About Soyeon
Jeon So-yeon competed on Produce 101 and Unpretty Rapstar 3 in 2016 and debuted as a soloist in November 2017 before leading (G)I-dle from its debut in May 2018. She writes, composes and arranges the bulk of the group's catalogue — “Latata”, “Hann (Alone)”, “Tomboy”, “Nxde”, “Queencard”, “Klaxon” and “Good Thing” among them — and has been credited as its overall producer since 2022. She also voices Akali for Riot Games in K/DA and True Damage, and released the solo EP Windy in 2021.

Born on 26 August 1998 in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, and graduated from Chung-Ang University in February 2017.

Placed 20th on the first season of Produce 101 in 2016 and finished second runner-up on Unpretty Rapstar 3 the same year.

Signed with Cube Entertainment on 29 December 2016 and debuted solo on 5 November 2017 with the self-written singles “Jelly” and “Idle Song”.
