Jung Ho-seok built a reputation as a street dancer in Gwangju before joining Big Hit Entertainment in 2010. He debuted as j-hope, serving as one of BTS's rappers and a central figure in the group's choreography and performance. His solo catalogue includes the mixtape Hope World, the single “Chicken Noodle Soup” and the albums Jack in the Box and Hope on the Street Vol. 1.
