Jinni trained at JYP Entertainment from 2016 and was one of the first three members revealed ahead of Nmixx's debut. She left the group and the agency on December 9, 2022, citing personal reasons, and signed with the agency ATOC in 2023 to pursue a solo and acting career under the professional name Jini.
