About Danielle
Danielle June Marsh, whose Korean name is Mo Ji-hye, was born in Newcastle, New South Wales and moved to South Korea with her family at four. She appeared on Korean children’s television from 2011, trained at YG Entertainment and passed a Source Music audition in July 2020. With NewJeans she wrote lyrics for “Attention”, “Super Shy”, “Cool with You”, “ASAP” and “How Sweet”, and in 2023 she voiced Ariel in the Korean dub of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. ADOR terminated her exclusive contract on December 29, 2025 and filed a damages suit against her the following day; the case was still being heard in 2026.
