Sooin is a South Korean singer and dancer who debuted with MEOVV in September 2024. Born in Daejeon, she grew up in Daegu before moving to Seoul to train. She began training in 2019 at another company and joined THEBLACKLABEL in 2022. Her public introduction on August 25, 2024 made her the third member unveiled for the group.

Gawon is a Korean-American singer, rapper and songwriter in MEOVV. She was born in Ohio, spent part of her childhood in New Jersey and moved to South Korea while still in elementary school. Before debuting, she trained at YG Entertainment and worked as a model. Her songwriting contributions extend from “TOXIC” to the group’s first two EPs.

Anna is a Japanese singer and model who built a fashion career before joining MEOVV. She won the fifth Nico-Petit Model Audition and later became a Miss Seventeen 2019 winner and an exclusive model for Seventeen Japan. After being contacted through Instagram, she auditioned for THEBLACKLABEL in early 2023 and moved to Seoul to train. She debuted with MEOVV the following year.

Ella is an American singer, model and actress, and the youngest member of MEOVV. She began modeling at age two and worked internationally before signing with THEBLACKLABEL in 2018. Her early screen work included the Malibu Rescue franchise and Star Trek: Picard. After debuting with MEOVV in September 2024, she added lyric credits on the group’s second EP, BITE NOW.

MEOVV is a five-member girl group formed by THEBLACKLABEL, with Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin and Ella bringing together backgrounds in South Korea, Japan and the United States. Teddy Park’s label introduced the members in August 2024 and launched the group with “MEOW” on September 6. Pronounced “meow,” the name expands to “My Eyes Open VVide” and underpins the group’s recurring feline imagery.

The double single TOXIC followed in November 2024, pairing its R&B-leaning title song with the performance-focused “BODY.” Gawon and Narin helped write “TOXIC,” establishing a songwriting role within the group early on. In May 2025, the six-song debut EP MY EYES OPEN VVIDE brought those releases together with “HANDS UP,” “DROP TOP” and “LIT RIGHT NOW.” It reached number four on the Circle Album Chart.
The group entered the Japanese market with “ME ME ME” in July 2025 and returned with “BURNING UP” that October. Their second EP, BITE NOW, arrived on June 1, 2026, led by “DDI RO RI”; Gawon, Narin and Ella contributed lyrics. Alongside their recording career, MEOVV earned recognition at MAMA, the Asia Artist Awards and the Korea Grand Music Awards, followed by performance honors at the 2026 K-World Dream Awards and TME Live International Music Awards.
