About Lia
Lia was born Choi Ji-su in Incheon, spent part of her childhood in Toronto and attended North London Collegiate School Jeju before passing a JYP Entertainment audition in 2017 and training for two years. Outside the group she is one of Itzy's busiest soundtrack voices, with songs for The Red Sleeve, Alchemy of Souls and Dr. Romantic among others. She stepped back from group activities in September 2023 to be treated for anxiety and resumed promoting with Itzy on July 8, 2024.

Born in Incheon; she moved to Toronto during elementary school and later attended North London Collegiate School Jeju.

Passed an SM Entertainment global audition at fourteen but withdrew after a disagreement with her parents.
