ALPHA DRIVE ONE, also known as ALD1, was formed through Mnet's Boys II Planet in September 2025. The eight-member group brings together Junseo, Arno, Leo, Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin and Sanghyeon under WAKEONE, with Leo as leader. After the pre-debut single “FORMULA” on December 3, 2025, their official debut followed on January 12, 2026 with the six-track EP EUPHORIA and its lead song “FREAK ALARM.”

EUPHORIA reached number two on South Korea's Circle Album Chart and surpassed one million copies in reported Korean sales. The group received rookie and main-prize honors at the Asia Star Entertainer Awards, Seoul Music Awards and KM Chart Awards during 2026. Their two-song digital single No School Tomorrow arrived on May 26, led by “OMG!”
WAKEONE announced Geonwoo's temporary hiatus on April 8, 2026, and the group continued promotions with seven members. The Star Road fan-con tour visited Incheon, Yokohama and Hong Kong during June and July. Their second EP, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST, was released on August 24 with “BORN DIRE” as its title track, followed by Sangwon's appointment as a Show! Music Core host.
