About Winter
Kim Min-jeong was spotted by an SM scout at her school's dance festival in Busan in 2016, dropped out to train and was the first aespa member to be revealed in October 2020. She has since sung a long list of drama soundtracks, joined the supergroup Got the Beat and written her own solo songs “Spark” and “Blue”.

Born in Nampo-dong, Busan, into a family with several members in the armed forces, and once considered that career herself.

Learned piano and guitar at Yangsan Samsung Middle School and played bowling, kendo, fencing, basketball and badminton, as well as joining the school dance club.

Scouted by SM Entertainment at a dance festival at Yangsan Girls' High School in 2016; she left school to train and later passed the GED.

Trained for four years and was the first aespa member revealed to the public, on October 27, 2020.

Coached vocally in-house by SM producer Yoo Young-jin and taught waacking by the Korean dancer Waackxxxy.
