A2O SOUL (에이투오 소울) is a 15-member boy group formed by A2O Entertainment, the agency SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo-man set up after leaving SM. The line-up spans five countries: Moon, Seoha, Hansung and See-one from Korea, Lucien from Korea and the United States, Sora, Gaku and Sono from Japan, Teo, June, Tai, Zai, Ayden and Zet from China, and Alure from Thailand. Eight of them had first been presented in A2O Rookies, the company's trainee team, and Gaku and Sono are brothers. The group's story places the members on Soulite, a planet where nothing is lacking, from which they set out for Earth to find "soul" – the feelings, such as happiness, love and passion, that make people feel alive. A2O stands for "Alpha to Omega".

A2O Entertainment announced the group on October 8, 2026, together with the girl group A2O LITE. The two acts were introduced at the joint global debut show "WELCOME TO SOULITE From A2O SOUL A2O LITE" at KINTEX in Goyang on October 12, where A2O SOUL performed in navy, spacecraft-crew-style uniforms without speaking to the press. Their first single, "SUPERSTAR", followed on October 13 at 6 p.m. KST, the date the agency gives as their official debut; it is billed as the pre-release single of a debut album that has not yet been dated. The song is a synthesizer-led track the label calls "New Synthwave", produced under Lee and longtime SM producer Yoo Young-jin with HAAN and GENT!, and released by Genie Music and Stone Music.
In its first days "SUPERSTAR" entered Korean streaming charts, topped the iTunes K-pop chart in Luxembourg and reached third place on QQ Music's new-song chart in China. A2O SOUL gave their first music-show performance on Mnet's M Countdown on October 15, 2026. Its members were between 14 and 19 years old at debut, the youngest three – Zai, Ayden and Zet – born in 2012, and A2O Entertainment says its acts may also appear in changing units, solo and project formats within one shared story world.
