YG Entertainment introduced CL, Bom, Dara and Minzy through the BigBang collaboration “Lollipop” in March 2009. Their own debut single “Fire” arrived on May 6, followed by their formal television debut on Inkigayo on May 17. The first mini album followed in July, with “I Don’t Care” winning MAMA’s Song of the Year.

To Anyone (2010) paired three lead singles: “Can’t Nobody”, “Go Away” and “Clap Your Hands”. The second mini album followed in 2011 with “Lonely”, “I Am the Best” and “Ugly”. Japanese releases included Nolza and Collection, while the New Evolution tour took the group overseas in 2012. Crush (2014), featuring “Come Back Home” and “Gotta Be You”, reached No. 61 on the Billboard 200.
Minzy left on April 5, 2016, and YG announced the group’s disbandment on November 25. CL, Bom and Dara released “Goodbye” in January 2017. All four reunited onstage at Coachella in 2022 and resumed group activities in 2024. The Welcome Back tour ran from October 2024 to April 2025. Bom began a temporary break from group activities in August 2025.
