The debut single album We Are UNCHILD contains two songs: the title track UNCHILD and ENERGY. High Up describes the former as electronic pop with garage influences and electric guitar, while ENERGY draws on house rhythms. Their debut visuals use a school setting, altered uniforms and colorful styling. The name UNCHILD expresses the group's rejection of conventional expectations, and its fans are called CHACHA.
Leader Heekie began a health-related break in June 2026 while remaining a member. A second digital single, TiNG TiNG, was announced for September 2 but postponed in August because of internal agency circumstances. On September 29, High Up stated that UNCHILD was preparing for a comeback in the fourth quarter. As of October 1, 2026, no replacement release date had been verified; the debut remains the group's confirmed commercial release.
