PURPLE KISS emerged from RBW’s 365 Practice trainee project and introduced its seven-member line-up in 2020. Two contrasting pre-debut singles, “My Heart Skip a Beat” and “Can We Talk Again”, led to the official debut on March 15, 2021 with INTO VIOLET and “Ponzona”. The members contributed lyrics, composition and choreography from the beginning, helping establish a group identity built around distinct voices and performance styles.

The playful horror of “Zombie” on HIDE & SEEK was followed by the contrasting sounds of memeM and Geekyland in 2022. Park Jieun left in November that year, and the six-member line-up returned with Cabin Fever and “Sweet Juice” in February 2023. The same year brought the Japanese EP Dear Violet, the single album FESTA and the group’s first US tour. Yuki also joined EL7Z UP after finishing third on Queendom Puzzle.
BXX and HEADWAY continued the group’s Korean discography in 2024, alongside a second Japanese EP, On the Violet. In 2025, I Miss My... and the English studio album OUR NOW preceded a farewell tour. RBW confirmed that all official group activities concluded on November 16, 2025, the release date of the final special single A Violet to Remember, led by “Breath”.
