About Sakura
Sakura Miyawaki joined HKT48 as a first-generation trainee in July 2011 and spent a decade with the group, taking lead positions on AKB48 singles and topping the Oricon photobook chart along the way. She placed second on Mnet's Produce 48 in 2018, promoted with Iz*One until the group's contract expired in April 2021, and graduated from HKT48 that June. She signed with Source Music in March 2022, was the first Le Sserafim member to be revealed, and has since written for the group on records from Antifragile to Pureflow Pt. 1.

Born in Kagoshima City and sent to a local musical school as a child; at ten she played the young Nala in a Shiki Theatre Company production of The Lion King.
